		<description><![CDATA[I agree about the distraction-free opportunity offered in a desert landscape. Our harsh, flat and often boring landscape in Kuwait doesn&#039;t inspire the same feelings :)  I have to find some time to travel to Oman or UAE (not on business) and go to a proper sandy desert.]]></description>

Two people is always better on any backcountry adventure compared to going at it alone. At least you have somebody to get help in case you hurt yourself. Since even my lousy AT&amp;T connection worked on top of the dunes, you may be alright with a phone and a GPS to get help.]]></description>
